An interconnecting trail system planned to be over 25 miles long, winds its way throughout the community. This trail system connects all of the communities and most amenities. Children can use the trail system to bike to school without having to cross any busy roadways, thanks to some well-planned overpasses.

Cane Bay Family YMCA and Berkeley County Library
Cane Bay Plantation donated 68 acres in the center of the community for the Cane Bay Family YMCA, one of the largest in the state. This 54,000 square foot complex includes an elevated walking track, modern exercise equipment, basketball and tennis courts, baseball and softball fields, health and wellness programs, plus a 25-yard aquatics education complex. This YMCA is also unique because it’s the first-ever collaboration with a public library, and houses a Berkeley County library. Now open, this first-class facility is a destination for those to gather to strengthen healthy spirit, mind and body for many generations to come.
